For viola, owl, and electronics(short excerpt)

Violist James Alexander asked me to write a piece for viola and owl after the performance in Nov '06. As he is one of my favorite people to collaborate with, I got started on it right away. It was performed as part of the "Tone Burst" series curated by Rick Reed.
